You are invited to participate in the 2004 Greater Jackson Shrinkdown Corporate Challenge scheduled to Kick-Off January 5. The goal of the Shrinkdown is to teach healthier lifestyles by providing nutrition and fitness education over an eight week period. Healthier employees mean higher productivity, less time off, and lower insurance costs. Participants of the Corporate Challenge are divided into categories based on the number of employees. The winning company is determined by participation, not actual weight loss. The winner of each corporate category will have the privilege of displaying the First Place trophy all year long!
To get started, all you have to do is:
- Assign a Shrinkdown Contact / Coordinator for your company. This person will receive the needed information for a successful event, including ideas to facilitate participation among your employees.
- The duties of the Coordinator include recruiting and offering assistance to your employees who participate during the eight week event.
The YMCA of Metropolitan Jackson and Central Mississippi Medical Center invite you to be a part of the 2004 Greater Jackson Shrinkdown Corporate Challenge. We hope you will allow your employees the opportunity to be motivated towards a healthier lifestyle, as well as the status of winning the Corporate Challenge.
